Day 102 – New Years Aftermath
It’s been a while but what can I say, I am exhausted and pretty worn out after the holidays. The past week has been filled with family events and chaos and I am just glad it is over. I will admit I have been depressed, I am not sure why but I can feel the lack of motivation and wanting to sleep all day wearing on me. On the bright side my girlfriend has been staying over a lot and I got to spend new years with her :3 This is a picture of me and her from yesterday. I go a rocky horror shirt today as a late christmas present and I thought it’d be a perfect time to take some new pictures. I have no makeup on so you can see how my face has been affected from the hormones. Anyways I just wanted to give a little update so it didn’t look like I fell off the face of the earth. Bai!

I luuh yuu too! I absolutely enjoyed spending time with you, as always, and I cannot wait to see you again.
Hi Abbey. I’m genuinely staggered at how well you apply makeup, I’m a fellow redhead and I can just never seem to make it work. I’m really interested in what you use to get such a wonderful look. Do you think you could do an update where you go into a little detail about the products you use and any advice about your techniques? I can’t tell you how appreciative I’d be!
Hi Alex, I’m flattered you think I am good at makeup! I will try to offer up a little help. For eyeliner I use Maybelline Unstoppable eyeliner that comes in a mechanical pencil device that you just twist to make more eyeliner to come out. I find this is a lot easier to use than a normal pencil and it is a lot softer and gives you really dark coverage. I think It is best to line the insides of your lashes and I do one line above my upper lashes to give my eyes a darker look. One of the things I have a lot of trouble is my light colored eye lashes. to get them mostly covered I use a brownish black Maybelline Define-A-Lash mascara. It has a relatively small and flexible brush which makes it easier to get closer to the base of the lash. Another important thing is concealer and foundation, and sometimes even primer! I find a pinkish eyeshadow works well with red hair and bluish green eyes, maybe it would look good on you. one last thing is to put a little white or bright eyeshadow on the inside corner of your eyes, it opens up your eyes and make them look bigger. The biggest thing is practice and seeing what works and doesn’t work.
I hope I helped a little bit. 🙂

Thanks for replying to me so quickly! I will definitely try to find that eyeliner, anything to make that easier would be great. Your eyes are much greener than mine; I guess mine could be hazel on a good day but I would probably just call them brown to be safer. And I could always use more practice! Thanks again for your posts, they are very inspiring.
your welcome 🙂 I will try and keep things interesting and helpful in the future.

Ohhhh! I love the timeline info… keep it up! Lots of girls end up not bothering after the first year or so even when they went to the effort to journal the changes.
I remember that I put on 1/3 more in body weight… =) [8.5 stone to 12.5… 119 pounds to 175 pounds]
Thank you for all your comments! I try to keep things updated the best I can. I’d like it if other girls found my site useful in their transition.
