Guess what time of the year it is?

That’s right, surgery time! It is starting to become a thing that I get surgery in December. It’s mostly due to my work schedule.

Anyways welcome! It’s been a long time since my last post about orchiectomy and I thought this was the perfect time to update. It is currently 5:33am and I am headed into the city for my breast augmentation surgery.

It’s been in the works for about 7 months now and I am nervous and excited that it’s finally getting done!

My surgery is scheduled for 8am but I have to be there at 6. Getting up early isn’t my strong suit, but for this I make an exception. For those who are interested I am getting a sub-glandular(above the muscle) augmentation with 500 and 550cc silicone gel implants. Since I am so tall this should look pretty proportional. I am getting them above the muscle because my job is so physical I would be constantly squishing them and they probably would not heal very well.

Other then that my life has been pretty status quo. I’m still working at a music theatre and living at home. So without further adieu I am going to sit and rest for the next 2 hours until my surgery.

110% recovered!

Howdy y’all.

I can say I am completely healed from having Orchiectomy in December and things have been good. I had no complications from the surgery and was back at work within a week or two doing light duty activities.

I don’t have to take Spironolactone anymore (yay!) and I only have to take 2mg of estrogen daily.

As far as my results go I feel mostly the same as before. Sans-testes obviously. Libido has decreased a bit. The incision is pretty discreet and if you didn’t know better you’d think it wasn’t even there. My general mood is better.

Other than that I’ve just been working a lot. Saving money, playing 7 days to die. It’s funny I hate zombies, but enjoy this game a lot. Probably because there is a lot of crafting and building involved. I’m also an admin on a friends server so there is that.

Finally I have some MORE exciting news! I have a consultation for breast augmentation on the 27th. Hopefully that goes well. I really want to finally get these surgeries done. I’ve been sitting in one place in life for a few years now and it is time I made some positive growth. I am starting to look ahead in life, just as you should.

Until next time,

Abbey

I just wanted to do a quick update,
I had a great christmas and spent a lot of time with my family but I’m glad things are starting to wind down. I’ve spent most of the past week hanging out with my girlfriend and playing Skyrim/Little Big Planet 2 on my new ps3 (thank you mom and dad!). Both are great games if you haven’t given them a try. Yesterday my girlfriend and I went shopping and while we didn’t find any clothes, I did pick up some Urban Decay 24/7 Rockstar eyeliner at Sephora and a new face cleanser from Lush. I am excited about both of them and I will be sure to comment on them in the future once I know whether they are each worth the $20 price tag.

The last thing I have to talk about is a rather exciting bit of news, and possibly the only important thing I will talk about in this post. I have finally sent in the forms to legally change my name! I am so excited that I am finally moving forward with the next step of my transition. Once my paperwork is processed(most likely within a few weeks) I will get a call from the family & probate court and I will have to pick a court date to go before a Judge or court Magistrate to have my name changed. After that It should be pretty much official unless I have to run a note in the paper saying that I am changing my name.

I finally decided to change my first and middle name to Abbey Lorraine. My mother’s name is Lorraine and I thought it sounded pretty good with Abbey. The best part is that my initials will be the exact same as they were before, ALK.

On that note I hope that everyone has a wonderful new year and I will talk to you all again in 2012!
